organizing

hello group.

Rather than have everyone email back and forth and people get missed in reply and reply all, I thought a blog would be a good way to have everyone on the same page. I'm still waiting to hear back from Dr. Jennings.

Here is the email I sent last night:
Hello group! Hope your semester is going well. I’m not quite sure how we will divide up the abstract write-ups, but maybe we should pick articles first.

Here is my vote for the four articles. I didn’t really read them, I just went off the titles.

1. Is sleep duration associated with

2. Objective and subjective effort as a function of sleep and energy

3. Praise for Intelligence can undermine children’s

4. Subtle linguistic cues affect

I’m emailing Dr. Jennings to see if he can start a discussion board for us to communicate, if not we can make a blog so we don’t have to completely use email. What do ya’ll think?

Just let me know. Look forward to working with you.

These articles are good with me. If I counted correctly, there are 5 group members and 16 pieces to the abstract - if we each took 3 that would knock it out (I'll even take the leftover).

Thank you Jennifer for finding these articles. They all seem on target and very interesting. I agree with you. I think it would be easier to discuss this in a blog. I look forward to hearing back from you in regards to what Dr. Jennings says. Have a great evening.

  3. Team...

I apologize for just now following up; however, I was on a cruise and had a difficult time checking emails. However, I am on board and ready to get to work. I've printed all the articles and will be reviewing this evening.

    Thanks for putting this together.
